About AIOT AND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION SUMMIT

Background & Rationale

Africa is entering a critical decade of digital transformation. The convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) presents unprecedented opportunities for leapfrogging development constraints in healthcare, education, agriculture, smart cities, and public service delivery. However, the continent faces structural barriers including limited infrastructure, weak regulatory frameworks, lack of investment, and fragmented innovation ecosystems.

The AIOT and Digital Transformation Summit will serve as a flagship gathering under AfriNovation 2025 to catalyze Africa’s strategic integration of AI and IoT. It is a high-level, half-day summit designed to unite Africa’s leading voices in deep tech with regulators, corporates, youth innovators, investors, and development partners to shape an actionable agenda for a tech-powered future.
